  4. 01: Please explain why I must pay for the software every year.  I
  5.     usually only pay for software once.

  7.     The best way I can explain this is to use an analogy from the
  8.     restaurant business.  When McDonald's first was founded, there was
  9.     only one store.  Soon, they started expanding and became a
  10.     _franchise_.  If an entrepenuer wants to own a McDonald's in their
  11.     area, they must pay a fee to use the McDonald's name, recipies, and
  12.     materials.  However, they make money as well.  That is what my
  13.     software is, a franchise.  I make the goods, and you sell them.  I
  14.     get a little money for all the work I put into the program, and you
  15.     get a good share for doing the work selling the product.
